WWA World Heavyweight Championship was a professional wrestling title recognized by the Los Angeles-based World Wrestling Association between 1959 and 1968. It was often referred to as "North American Wrestling Alliance" title in suburban cities.
The title was created as an offshoot of the NWA World Heavyweight Championship when Edouard Carpentier became recognized as champion in Los Angeles.
It was retired when WWA joined NWA in 1968.
